Research and Graduate Support Specialist UIW Mission Position Summary The Research and Graduate Support Specialist is responsible for providing professional-level support services, assistance and information to university stakeholders on confidential student matters. Position serves as a key administrative member of the Office of Research and Graduate Studies. The Research and Graduate Support Specialist reports to the Director of Graduate Studies and the Director of Research and Sponsored Projects Operations. Preferred Qualifications <ul> <li>Master's Degree;</li> <li>Proficiency in social media outreach;</li> <li>Experience in a graduate student support office or other relevant environment in higher education;</li> <li>Experience in higher education administration, particularly working with student information and inquiries;</li> <li>Experience with Banner applications, ARGOS, and form builders.</li> </ul> Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations N/A. Work Hours Business hours of Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm with flexibility; extended hours as required, including occasional weekends and evenings based on departmental needs. Research Assistant UIW Mission Position Summary The Research Assistant is responsible for assisting department faculty in the operation of a shared science lab to initiate, implement, and evaluate PCR, gel electrophoresis, HPLC, and decalcified tissue histology tests. The Research Assistant reports to the Associate Dean of Research.
