The Role:

We have a great opportunity for a Manager/Sr. Manager of Decision Support to join our team.  In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders and internal business partners such as sales, sales operations, marketing, finance, and the executive team to architect, develop, and deploy reporting & analytics in preparation of launching Zilretta, Flexion’s lead candidate.   This is a great opportunity for visibility as you will work with key stakeholders to aggregate and present this critical information.


  • Develop standard set of performance dashboards that aggregate key performance information from multiple sources that can be made available throughout the organization.
  • Drives requirements across multiple stakeholders to align on KPIs
  • Leads project implementation of dashboards to support business performance collaborating with IT.
  • Provide internal market trend and analytics to be used to support strategic decision-making.
  • Perform large-scale data analysis and modeling to identify opportunities for improvement and measure the impact of initiatives.
  • Ensure that new and existing reports are accurate and that all supporting data is properly administered.
  • Lead project implementation of selection solutions. Coordinate and collaborate with departments to include IT and operations in defining reporting requirements, establishing time frames for delivery, reviewing for quality and reconciling data.
  • Create and document a framework to ensure effective operations controls and meaningful communication on reporting capabilities and activities. Engage key stakeholders to ensure proper training and uses of data insights and business intelligence applications.


  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA in marketing and/or advanced statistics a plus).
  • 7-10 years’ experience in an analytics role
  • Strong analytical background working in reporting and data management. Experience serving reporting and analytical solution needs to executive teams.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical sales, Rx, and claims data, and leveraging these and other data sources to generate business performance insights
  • Experience with data analysis tools, such as Excel or SAS
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, for ad-hoc report authoring
  • Knowledge of the Life Science and Analytical Sciences Marketplace a must.
  • Detail oriented with exceptional attention to timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Skilled communicator; comfortable and experienced at multiple levels
  • Knowledge of large scale program/project management methods
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Willing to travel occasionally.
