Lab Technician - Psychology

Perform anatomical and behavioral experiments in goldfish for an NSF award to Dickinson (substitute PI while Thompson worked at NSF) for work done in the Thompson lab. The candidate will run experiments in goldfish testing where and how within the brain that testosterone rapidly affects sensory processes in goldfish, as well as manage the Thompson laboratory.

40 hrs/week. Monday-Friday, actual hours flexible between 8:30-5:00. No overtime anticipated. This is a grant-funded position; the position will exist only so long as grant funds are able to support it fully.

High school or GED equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in biology or neuroscience preferred.

Experience working in a cellular/molecular or anatomy laboratory is preferred, as is experience working with animals.
