AVP/VP, Management Reporting and Data Analytics, Correspondent Lending

AmeriHome has maintained its client-centric core principles throughout its rapid ascent to a top 5 correspondent investor and continues to look into ways to deepen its partnership with its clients.




Under the direction of the SVP Business Production Management, this position will lead and drive Correspondent Lending analytics, including metric development, service level reporting and strategic implementation.  The position will partner as needed with Correspondent Lending Sales, Secondary Markets, Risk Policy and Products, Quality Control,    Servicing, Finance and Correspondent Lending Operations.  This position will lead a team of Analysts to develop reporting and routines to ensure consistent communication between  Correspondent Lending and related corporate counterparties.  As a result of analysis, the position will lead initiatives to further enhance AmeriHome Correspondent Lending sales and  production volumes, market share, competitiveness, revenues and overall profitability.


  • Develops and maintains the reporting database infrastructure and routines necessary to provide reporting and analytics support to Correspondent and Executive Management
  • Applies applicable theories and concepts to interpret data, provide analysis and observations, and recommend related initiatives and solutions
  • Participates in strategy execution; implement the tactics to meet divisional goals
  • Ensures management of departmental service levels, production and quality standards
  • Responsible for the ongoing development and creation of all Management reporting, including Monthly Business Review materials and presentations
  • Maintains a consistent and constant flow of communication with team members and managers; is able to articulate thoughts crisply but with the appropriate level of detail and accuracy depending on audience
  • Maintains data integrity and consistency across the corporate infrastructure




  The successful candidate will need to possess the following:


  • Minimum five years of management experience in analytics related field
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
  • Possesses a thorough understanding and knowledge of mortgage banking metrics and how that relates to headcount and staffing management
  • Understanding and knowledge of technology which supports mortgage banking, including loan origination systems and supporting systems
  • Fluency with relational databases and SQL
  • Proven ability to lead major projects and initiatives and achieving planned results, utilizing sound project management disciplines involving representatives from compliance, credit, sales, marketing, technology and operations
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
