PURPOSE OF ROLE: The primary purpose of this role is to lead the analyst team to ensure quality execution of programs and projects by serving as the liaison between Merchandising, Merchandising Operations, and the field (Store Operations). This incudes responsibility for overseeing and handling the most complex programs, projects, and issues by coordinating with team to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient completion and resolution. In addition, this role has a large responsibility for communicating and coordinating with Third Party In-Store Service Groups (vendors) for contract negotiations and relationship management as well as with internal analysts teams to delegate and oversee project and process improvements.

 

RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS
•Leads a team to ensure third parties are compliant with standards through contracts and addendums, management of vendor relationships and execution of projects and programs, and identification and resolution of misalignments with HR issues internally or with 3rd party teams • Drives efficiency and quality for development and execution amongst internal and external teams by prioritizing work loads, communicating regularly, and monitoring timelines and budget • Determines scope of work, labor capacity, and qualifications for various projects with Strategic Sourcing, providing input on what work is to be completed and the final decision for labor selection • Manages project plans through planning to implementation with Merchandising, Merchandising Operations, and Store Operations to ensure the timely delivery of programs and projects and adherence to company guidelines
•Interacts with Directors, Vice Presidents, and other key stakeholders to ensure project and service expectations are consistent across all service and project activities and to connect the field and merchant points of view across top leadership

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Planning, Retailing, or related field
5+ Experience in Merchandising, Project Planning, Retail Stores, and Consulting
5+Experience in process development, strategy development, project management, or related area
Experience leading larger scale efforts and project teams, working cross functionally

 

Preferred
Experience in continuous improvement methodology (i.e. Six Sigma, Lean)
Experience in planogramming and space management
Experience working with 3rd party vendors
Master's Degree MBA or related field Experience in Portfolio Management
