Assignment Capsule
 
Humana is seeking an Innovation Project Manager or Consultant with strong PM skills who will oversee the application of project management methodology during all phases of the project cycle, as well as provide consultation and thought leadership to executive team work.
  • Work independently and with teams in the delivery of high-quality solutions that reach measurable metrics.
  • Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements.
  • Facilitate the meetings and develop rollout plans and procedures.
  • Work closely with CEO Project Leaders to track, trend, and measure project progress.
  • Track key operational and strategic measures for Board of Director reporting.
  • Possess a deep understanding of segmentation and/or market segment opportunity, product development and product positioning.
  • Successfully create, execute against, and manage detailed project plans that enable business partners to deliver against significant and transformative objectives.
  • Work across multiple function leadership teams to track and manage project stages.

  • Demonstrated success with large scale projects and implementation/integration
  • Strategic thinking and planning capabilities; organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong database software proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and motivation essential; a confident change-agent; strong selling and presentation skills (oral and written)

  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry

  • MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred

  • You will report to a Director. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Strategy Officer.
