What You'll Do 
You will be responsible for managing relationships with key portfolio companies within Cisco investments. Leveraging their broad understanding of Cisco and the needs of our portfolio companies, this role will bring the best resources, processes and programs to bear with the singular goal of Business enabling our portfolio companies.

Who You'll Work With


Cisco investments is a key pillar of Cisco’s innovation strategy, by delivering strategic go-to-market related capabilities to our portfolio companies this role will create a differentiated investment development platform which will consistently attract the best Corp VC deals in the market.

Who You Are


• Own, build and nourish Executive relationships at Portfolio companies.
• Build executive relationships between Portfolio companies and Cisco.
• Organize Executive round tables at the highest levels of Cisco, VC and Portfolio companies
• Operationalize Cisco Sales, GTM and Channel programs for Portfolio companies
• Leverage Cisco’s sales and GTM programs to accelerate Portfolio companies time to market and revenue
• Leverage Cisco’s global channel presence and channel programs to accelerate Portfolio companies time-to-market and revenue
• Connect portfolio companies with prospective opportunities within Cisco IT and Cisco’s customer and partner base.
• Manage VC relationships
• Identify and execute on opportunities to cross-pollinate between partner VC portfolio companies and Cisco investments.
• Create and execute joint GTM programs with partner VCs
• Identify and grow synergistic opportunities within the Cisco investments portfolio by connecting portfolio companies to each other to maximize market impact
• Partner with the Cisco Innovation labs team to sponsor and grow Cisco portfolio company presence at these labs
• Partner with Country Digitization teams to create and execute on opportunities to introduce Portfolio companies in country sales motion
• Leverage social media and Cisco’s internal marketing programs to continue to further the Cisco Investments Brand.
• Through a tight relationship with Corp BD Deal managers, identify target investments early and help accelerate their time to value.
• Connect portfolio companies with prospective opportunities within Cisco IT and Cisco’s customer and partner base.
• Create and execute custom programs to leverage vast set of Cisco APIs by Cisco portfolio companies.
• Create joint selling and competitive displacement opportunities
• Sponsor Portfolio companies’ presence at Cisco events (Cisco Live, GSX etc) and Customer briefing centers globally.

Our Minimum Requirements for this Role Are:


• Proven Ability to lead by influence
• Proven ability to build and sustain long term relationships
• Experience across Sales, marketing and Channels functions preferred
• Product management, Entrepreneurship and startup experience a plus
• 10-15 years Industry experience in sales/channels business development and GTM functions
*MBA preferred
